Claudia is the best!

Pros: Professional, personable, easy to talk to, prepared, skilled. Fantastic, really.

Cons: We couldn’t take her with us to MN for our second wedding.

“You’re so photogenic!”  Believe me, no one has ever said that to me until they saw our wedding photos from Claudia.  She is awesome!  Easy to work with, easy to communicate with, great suggestions – a totally great package.  Like most of the comments here, it’s tough to select a photographer from a distance but she made our decision easy.  The BDW web site was great for looking at the various photographers but when I saw Claudia’s work, I knew she was the one.  I picked four photographers and asked them each to send a full wedding shoot for us to compare.  Then I asked my (then) fiancé which one he liked the best.  Without discussing it first, we both picked Claudia.  I was hooked on her shots of the scenery.  Including the wedding couple in the scenery made it even more fantastic!  Someone else mentioned that her photos look like magazine shots.  They really do!  She also did a great job of close ups and capturing all the moments.  We have several shots of us with birds overhead.  I wasn’t so sure about that at the time, but one of the reviews on this site recommends that you “go with her instructions and you won’t be sorry.”  We did, and those shots are awesome!

Claudia was on time, organized, helpful, funny, and great with our grandkids.  Yes, we had our four granddaughters in our wedding at the Iberostar Paraiso Lindo on April 13, 2014.  We had a small group, (20 guests) so we were able to get lots of photos of everyone.  The photos on the beach after the group shots are so spectacular!  She made us look GOOD!

Claudia asked us how we met and what types of photos we wanted.  She was really good at getting the shots we requested.  My husband and I met dancing and we wanted lots of photos of us during “our” dance and of our guests line dancing.  They are really fun to look at.  Our dinner ran long and Claudia was able to stay a bit longer to capture the dancing and the cake cutting.  We really appreciated her flexibility.

We had to pay extra for Claudia and her assistant to be on site, but she was worth it.  I’m telling you, she is so easy to work with.  Her emails are prompt.  She was great at calming me down when I was worried about everything coming together.  Our photos were posted on line when she said they would be.  She even sent us a few ahead of time so we could take them to our 2^nd wedding in Minnesota.  The things we do for family!

Claudia also put together gift bags for our guests.  I hadn’t really thought about doing that as I didn’t want to bring a bunch of stuff with me on the plane and take the time to put them together.  I wanted to spend time with our guests.  Claudia offered to put something together for us and they were just as nice as her photos.  I know our guests enjoyed having the treats to take on the plane.

I can’t wait to get the enlargements back and up on our walls.  Claudia takes photos that you are happy to look at for years to come.  You can’t go wrong with her.  I hope your wedding is as fun as ours was.  If you go with Claudia, I know your photos will be great!

Beautiful work!

Cons: She can’t stop the rain

Even though it rained for most of our wedding day, Claudia managed to use the clouds, darkness, and light to her advantage. Before the ceremony, she was snapping photos and calming me, as I was stressing about the weather. Thankfully, the clouds broke, and we were able to have the ceremony outside, followed by a brief photo session. In the few moments we had, during and after our ceremony, Claudia captured beautiful expressions and posed us with amazing backdrops that made for magazine-worthy pictures. Even when the rain returned, she continued to shoot beautiful pictures inside our house, completing the day.

Claudia is excellent at communicating in a timely manner. She is flexible and works hard to ensure your happiness with the end result. She is excellent, and I highly recommend her services!

From the beginning, Claudia was personable and responsive.  She always responded to our emails and questions in a timely manner and worked with us to come up with a plan for the day.  She arrived in Cozumel early and came to check in with me before her scheduled start time.  She even helped me communicate with the make-up artist I was using.  She has the perfect combination of calm confidence.  She is so comforting and peaceful, I really appreciated that.  Armando was assisting her that day, and, together, they captured such beautiful moments and memories.  The resort had its own photographer, so we were able to compare images they took at exactly the same time…there is not comparison!  The exposure, the saturation of color, the lighting, it’s hard to believe they were taken simultaneously.  The resort photographer’s photos look like snapshots compared to the magazine quality photos Claudia’s took.  We feel lucky to have had Claudia with us on our special day.

Oh, and links and DVD’s were sent to us in exactly the timeline she promised.

Amazing

Claudia was amazing from day one when I contacted her about booking a wedding in Mexico. She did whatever she could to get me the package I wanted within a reasonable price range. She always answered any emails I sent her in a timely manner. I never once was worried things weren’t going to work out. She didn’t just act like a photographer to us she was a friend. Very friendly, sweet, and fun. She made our experience very pleasant. We didn’t just get photography from her. We ordered welcome bag for our guest from Claudia. Whatever we wanted for our bags she made sure to find it for us. It was very nice not to have to travel from the states with welcome bag items. It was one less thing for us to worry about. I received our pictures over a week ago and they were everything I ever wanted plus more. She made my fairytale wedding come to life in our pictures. She was a sweetheart and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else being our wedding photographer. We loved Claudia and her assistant and recommend her 100%

Our pictures are BEAUTIFUL!

Planning a destination is way more challenging than I thought it would be.  Most vendors averaged a week or more to respond.  Or, when they did respond, my questions weren’t answered.  There is one exception  to this statement though.  Claudia was absolutely WONDERFUL.

I looked at many websites and photographers and kept coming back to Claudia.  I compared rates and quality and reviews and it was actually a very easy decision to make.

And, from the first time we emailed until the moment I got my DVD of pictures, and everything in between, I was very satisfied with her.

And day of, so relieved to have Claudia as the photographer for our wedding.  She showed up and captured beautiful pictures of my husband and his groomsmen as well as myself and my bridesmaids.  And, when the hotel did not deliver a cart as promised to take me to the first look location, she called them to get it there ASAP for me.

Our first look pictures are wonderful and then the pictures of the two of us are artistic and beautiful.  Her ability to capture candid moments is great.

Formal pictures and party pictures, couldn’t be happier.  Of course, our favorite is a sunset photo during the cocktail hour.  She knew exactly when to set up and get the perfect sunset photos.  Seriously, if having those beautiful colors in your pictures on your wedding day, you couldn’t do better than Claudia!

Amazing Photos… Amazing Photographers

We had our amazing wedding celebration in Riviera Maya, Mexico on July 21st, 2014 at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Paraiso Resort. It was by far the best day of our lives. We used Claudia for our photography and she, along with her amazing team were fantastic. She was so professional with the entire process.

Before the big day: Claudia was very responsive via email in the months leading up to the wedding. We secured her approx. 8 months before the big day and she was willing to answer any questions or concerns we had until the day arrived. She was great at giving pointers for the wedding day, knowing weather and knowing when the best times to take photos were was a big help.

Wedding day: Claudia arrived right on time to begin taking photos. She was great in helping us all with poses and locations to take our photos. They turned out amazing! It was great never feeling that the photographers or videographers were ‘in the way’ throughout the ceremony or the reception. I didn’t even know they were there during the ceremony. Claudia and her team did such a great job and I would highly recommend her to anybody. They were truly worth the Vendor Fee your hotel may charge you. I’ve been staring at our photos from the moment they arrived and I can’t stop. Thank you Claudia!!!

Claudia Rodriguez – We picked the perfect photographer!

We couldn’t have picked a better photographer for our wedding!

When we decided that our wedding would be in Cancun I immediately contacted Claudia.I knew of Claudia because one of her associates had photographed my sister’s wedding four years ago and I loved her work. She was extremely easy to work with, any question I had she responded at her earliest convenience – she was super flexible. It was so much easier to work with her than the coordinator at our resort.

The day of the wedding she showed up on time and was extremely friendly, this helped because my nerves had kicked it. Her personality is great, she’s so easy going but professional – none of the poses felt forced everything was so organic. My entire family loved her, she was great! You can tell she has many years of experience, she knows exactly what she’s doing and is constantly finding new angles to capture each moment and make it memorable.

Six weeks after the wedding day, she sent me the link to all of the photographs from the wedding day! I love them all!!! It was so difficult for my husband and I to pick out the pictures we wanted to order without filling our entire walls with pictures from the wedding day!

I definitely recommend Claudia! A++

Not Just Your Typical Wedding Photographer

I had my wedding at the Barcelo Maya Palace in May this year.  I chose Claudia as my photographer after reviewing the gorgeous photos on her website.  This is what I love about Claudia.  She LOVES her work.  And she loves to capture the moments, which is exactly what I was hoping for.  The photos she took for me came out in radiant colours, she perfectly captured the sunset in the background, and the little moments (a tear, a laugh, a hug, some hilarious dancing later in the evening – not just of us but also our guests).  She promply replied to all my e-mails and gave me advice on how to do my hair (keeping in mind humidity is brutal and the wind is not always your friend either… LISTEN TO HER ADVICE) and prepare for the big day.  She is incredibly sweet, so friendly in all her e-mails, and also very professional when it came to the big day.  She was on top of everything, she knew the best locations for photos, brought every little thing you could need in case of a mishap (she even had scissors and lip gloss for me)… I felt like I had a two-for-one deal – photographer and wedding manager. It is obvious she has done this a million times before. She told us where to stand and how to pose which was definitely helpful because I am no model by any means.  My only tiny critique would have been that she could been even more detailed about how we posed – maybe a hand in the pocket for the groom, or move in a couple inches in spacing… but that being said, she didn’t have a lot ot time to work with (we gave her a little more than an hour for posed shots with the wedding party and alone) and she was trying to make time to capture the light in different settings too.  My advice would be give yourself a little more time if you can – a couple hours at least for shots, especially when you have hired someone as skilled as Claudia.  Make good use of her!  I also loved how she remembered what I told her – this is my better angle, and she ran with it all day… arranging herself and others around me to make me look good.  I’m no Ariana Grande with my demands but it was greatly appreciated.

She promptly delivered my photos in 2 months as promised, definitely gave me more than the minimum number of shots agreed upon.  Thank you Claudia for helping me preserve the memories of my perfect day in the best way possible.

We hired Claudia for our wedding in April 2013 at Le Blanc Spa Resort in Cancun, Mexico and everything turned out wonderful!

After doing a ton of research of photographers in the area, we chose Claudia because we liked her style and it matched well with our personalities. She was very prompt and easy to work with! She provided a quote right away and answered all questions and concerns about the big day. She always followed-up, which was reassuring, since you have so much on your plate.

On the day of, she arrived on time with her assistant and went straight to work. Everything on the day of went smoothly. She was very creative and all of our pictures turned out great!

After the wedding, we were sent the website address to view the photos in a timely manner and later received a CD with all of our photos. In the middle of this process, I chose a picture that I wanted to use on our thank you cards. I asked if she could send me the file first. It was in my inbox the next day!

Overall, the experience working with Claudia was great. I personally think it’s very important to pick a photographer that matches with your tastes and personality. It also goes to say that the extra fee in hiring outside of the resorts is worth the price to get what you really want!

Amazing Photographs Thank You Claudia

Claudia was our photographer at our wedding at the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya. The prep time photos were great she captured the moments with my mother and my bridesmaids beautifully while her assistant did the same for my husband and his brothers. She even had some tips to help with my makeup since I was doing it myself to make sure everything would look amazing in the photos. The ceremony and photoshoot after were great! She makes the best of her surroundings making it look like you are in a far of secluded grove while you are only a few feet from the main beach.  As a couple we do not think we are very photogenic but we love all of our photos. Every photo we received from Claudia shows us in our best light and captures the joy of our day.  Beside her talent she is also very professional answering questions and emails promptly and being very straight forward with her approach and costs. She never tried to upsell us to anything we did not want and performed her best for us.
